SWIFTutoring was designed to be a targeted literacy tutoring service, with qualified and experienced tutors to help students who are experiencing literacy difficulties. However, the service available has now been reduced to the two options below: a tutoring "club" run through ODCF in Bunbury, or an "at home" version available through HomeLearn.
SWIFTutoring is Irlen-Friendly, which means that the tutoring style and method is supportive of students with Irlen Syndrome. To know more about Irlen Syndrome, visit http://www.irlenwa.com.au
For a formal diagnosis of 'dyslexia' for students who appear to be having reading difficulties, an essential part of the process is at least 6 months of 'targeted literacy intervention'. SWIFTutoring provides the targeted intervention that is required as part of this. To find out more about the process of Dyslexia Diagnosis, visit http://irlenwa.com.au/diagnosis
SWIFTutoring is a tutoring "club" run through One Direction Christian Fellowship, cnr Cornwall & Zoe Sts, Bunbury.
SWIFTutoring is also available for use by parents as an 'in home' (DIY) system via posted packs from HomeLearn. For more information about this service click here
